Research Focus: 3D Computer Vision, Generative Modeling, and Computer Vision for Ecology

I am a first-year CS PhD student at Washington University in Saint Louis, advised by Prof. Nathan Jacobs. Super excited to join MVRL!

Previously, I was a MSCS student at Texas A&M University (TAMU). I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Cheng Zhang in TAMU Visual AI Lab, and we worked on taxonomy-aware fine-grained image generation and uncertainty-aware dynamic 3D reconstruction. During 2025 summer, we also explored video surveillance with multi-object tracking and real-time localization in constrained healthcare environment.

Past Experience

I was a graduate research assistant in the Communications and Multimedia Lab in Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Taiwan University (NTU), advised by Prof. Cheng-Fu Chou. We worked on intelligent health which improves hospital management by object detection & multi-object tracking.

I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degree in Department of Forestry and Resource Conservation at NTU, advised by Prof. Tzeng Yih, Lam. During which, I designed an Android mobile camera application for Horizontal Point Sampling in forestry.
